Established in 2003, GeeEdge is a leading company in R&D and manufacturing disposable surgical knife for ophthalmology. The sales of GeeEdge's products occupy more than 70% of the domestic market of the industry, with customers spanning 13 provinces and more than 60 countries. Meanwhile GeeEdge establishes cooperation with clients from various countries in Asia, Europe and South America.

This project is  to design and develop new generation disposable surgical knife for GeeEdge. With in-depth research, D+ has suggested a design solution that sliding knife protector could meet the needs of doctors' user behaviour, at the same time, fulfils strict requirements of sterilisation process during surgery.
